A sound bath is a guided rest experience. You lie down or sit comfortably while live instruments, like crystal singing bowls, chimes, and gentle percussion, create waves of sound around you.

There is no right way to do it. You don’t have to meditate, know yoga, or be good at relaxing. You simply show up, get comfortable, and let the sound support your body and mind.

1. Arrive a few minutes early When you arrive at 4500 S. Kingshighway Blvd., Unit 20, you’ll be greeted and shown where to place your shoes and belongings.
   

2. Get comfortable You'll bring your own blanket, pillow, & eye mask and set up your space. We’ll offer simple options to help you feel supported.
   

3. Gentle grounding We’ll start with a short check‑in and a few easy breaths so your body knows it’s safe to rest.
   

4. Immersive sound You’ll hear layers of sound from crystal bowls, chimes, and other instruments. You can close your eyes, drift, or simply listen.
   

5. Soft landing We’ll close with a few minutes of quiet and a simple way to come back to the room before you head out.
   

You can always opt out of anything that doesn’t feel right for you. Your comfort comes first.

You can plan to be in the studio for an hour and fifteen minutes.

Skill Set Sound Studio is one of (?) the only dedicated sound bath spaces on the south side of St. Louis. We’re tucked into a small unit at 4500 S. Kingshighway Blvd., Unit 20, designed to feel like a quiet pocket in the middle of the city.
